A. My EventSuite is an absolutely free service for users. We will never limit content or ask you to pay for the service.

Q. How are the vendors chosen to be on the site?

A. Each vendor is pre-qualified by a panel of industry experts engaged by My EventSuite to ensure premier service to our users. Vendors are qualified based on the following listing:

  • Online presence via website and social media channels.
  • High qualify body of work
  • Positive industry reputation
  • Must remain active member of My EventSuite community once accepted as a vendor partner

Q. Can vendors see each other's quotes when submitting?

A. No. All information associated with your request from initial communication to the bids received is strictly confidential. Vendors are not privy to their competitors' bids. You can also take comfort in knowing that our networks have several layers of security.

Q. What is EventMatch and how do I decide which keywords to prioritize in a service?

A.  EventMatch sets you up with a quote from a vendor who may be perfect for you, based on the keywords you prioritize in your bid form. What are the most important deciding factors for you? If budget is your highest priority, then input price as your first characteristic. If working with a trusted vendor is your biggest priority, then input experience as your first characteristic. My EventSuite is committed to pairing you with vendors that best match the type of service you are looking for.

Q. Can I trust vendors I haven't heard of?

A.  Yes, absolutely. One of our mandates at My EventSuite is to pre-qualify every vendor to ensure our users receive high-quality service in a timely fashion.

Q. Why is there a short-list of vendors for each category?

A. There are two main reasons. First, we keep a short-list of vendors for each category to ensure a high standard of quality across these professional services. Secondly, long lists of vendors can be confusing when you're not familiar with the event planning industry. We have done all the foot work for you and have sourced the top vendors in each category. Our expert panel selects the best from a diverse range of vendors to make the decision making process easier for you, while still maintaining a level of quality that is the best in industry.

Q. How can I submit my event to be featured in the Real Events blog?

A. Email your inquiry to realevents@myeventsuite.com and be sure to include the following:

  • 10+ unwatermarked pictures from your event. Each image should be at least 900px wide and should not be canvassed together. Your collection of photos should tell a story about your event from getting ready to family portraits, ceremony and reception details.
  • A list of all your vendors
  • Event date and name of guest(s) of honour
  • Venue and number of guests
  • Your event theme, if applicable and any other information you'd like to share with us about your event.

Please be sure to also include your name and contact information. We'll review your submission and respond accordingly.

Q. Once I accept a proposal, how do I take next steps?

A. First, congratulations on finding the right professional partner. We recommend setting up an in-person meeting to discuss everything you need down to the smallest detail. Establish schedule and payment terms.

Q. I'm a vendor. How do I apply to become a My EventSuite vendor partner?

A. All vendors are prequalified by a panel of industry experts commissioned by My EventSuite. Vendors are encouraged to apply online. Our experts will review your profile based on the following qualifications and will contact you regarding the next steps:

  • Online presence via website and social media channels.
  • High qualify body of work
  • Positive industry reputation
  • Must remain active member of My EventSuite community once accepted as a vendor partner

Please note: Once you have registered online you will not be able to log in to My EventSuite until you have been accepted as a vendor partner. Upon registration you will receive an email with further instructions.
